Local-first data handling

Atlas reads selected file paths and contents locally and saves them only to the destination you choose. It has no CoreNextStudio account, advertising, telemetry, or automatic crash upload. Cloud providers and selected network servers process transfers under their own policies.

Optional app-update checks contact www.corenextstudio.com for release metadata and do not include hardware reports or backup contents. Support messages are voluntary.

Information used on your PC

Atlas reads the files and folders you select. Backups include paths, names, sizes, dates, checksums and recorded exclusions. They are saved to your chosen vault or destination. Snapshot history is retained until you remove it. Restore writes to a new folder. Local backups, exported reports and preferences remain after uninstalling.

Appearance and the last backup folder are stored in your Windows profile under LocalAppData/CoreNextStudio/Atlas. A daily schedule stores selected paths and timing locally. Only with your explicit consent can an encrypted schedule save its vault password, protected by Windows for your current account. Removing the schedule stops future runs and removes its saved plan/password, but does not delete backups or previous reports.

Optional cloud connections

Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive sign-in takes place on the provider's browser page. Atlas does not receive your provider password. OAuth connection tokens are saved on your PC using Windows DPAPI protection for your current Windows account. Disconnect removes the saved connection; you can also revoke access through the provider's account settings.

Cloud backups stay in your own provider account. Dropbox and OneDrive use the Atlas app folder; Google Drive access covers files Atlas creates or files you explicitly share with it. Transfers can include the computer name, backup date, encryption status, sizes and checksums. Encrypted vault contents remain encrypted, while transfer details remain visible. Unencrypted backups can be read by the storage provider. Selected WebDAV servers and sync-folder providers process files under their own policies.

Delete remote files through your provider, whose trash and retention rules apply. Interrupted transfers can leave partial files. Local schedules do not automatically upload backups. Google Drive remains restricted to approved test users and Dropbox remains in development until provider approval. OneDrive still requires final live transfer validation.

Website requests and support

Update checks and downloads send ordinary HTTPS requests to www.corenextstudio.com. The host may receive the IP address, time, requested URL and user agent for delivery and security. Hardware reports and backup contents are not included. Atlas checks when you request it or enable automatic checks.

The software support form collects a selected product/topic, optional name, reply email and message. It processes a form token, timing and honeypot information, and temporary IP-based rate-limiting data to prevent abuse. You control any diagnostic details included in your message. Do not send passwords, recovery keys or unrelated personal files.

Messages are emailed to contact@corenextstudio.com; this software form does not save message entries in WordPress. Website hosting and email delivery/mailbox providers process and store the request as needed to deliver the site and correspondence. Hosting, security logs and backup copies can have separate retention. CoreNextStudio does not automatically receive your local app files or cloud backups.

Retention, deletion and requests

Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to resolve requests, maintain necessary records and meet legal obligations; no fixed automatic deletion period is promised. Ask for access, correction or deletion at contact@corenextstudio.com. Necessary legal or security records may need to remain, and service-provider backup copies may persist until their normal expiry. Delete local app data on your PC and cloud copies through your chosen provider.

These apps have no CoreNextStudio advertising, telemetry, account service or automatic crash-report upload. CoreNextStudio does not sell software support submissions or app data. Third-party services have their own privacy practices.
