PRIVACY NOTICE — CURRENT IMPLEMENTATION
DriverForge performs its hardware scan locally. It reads motherboard/model/revision, BIOS version/date, Windows version/architecture, CPU information, Plug and Play device identifiers, compatible IDs, driver metadata and Windows problem codes. Device identifiers may contain peripheral serial identifiers. Reports omit the Windows user name and computer name as dedicated fields.
Scans and general session logs remain in memory unless exported. For driver installation, firmware staging and optional app-update attempts, this version automatically stores up to 50 local history records, with before/after hardware reports, operation results, timestamps and restart requests, under LocalAppData/CoreNextStudio/DriverForge/History. Device identifiers and app version output may appear in these records. Use History / Clear history to delete them; older records are removed as new ones exceed the limit. Failed or interrupted records are not proof of an installed update. Exported JSON reports, text logs, driver backups and hashes are saved to the location you choose. You control subsequent sharing. Review exports before sending them to another person. The optional firmware-readiness check reads power and drive-encryption status. It does not retrieve or store BitLocker recovery keys.
An optional app-update check contacts www.corenextstudio.com for release metadata. Like other web requests, the website can receive the request IP address, date and time, requested address, and DriverForge user agent to deliver and secure the service. No hardware report is included. Installer download requires HTTPS on that host, a matching SHA-256, a valid Windows signature and the same verified publisher identity as the running app. Builds without a valid publisher signature keep this feature disabled. BIOS / FIRMWARE DISCLOSURE
Firmware is separate from routine drivers. This release identifies BIOS information, links to official support pages, computes SHA-256 checksums and offers a read-only readiness check. For an exact local UEFI hardware-resource match offered by Windows Update, it can download and stage one firmware package after review and user acknowledgments. Windows and the platform may apply that firmware during restart. It does not offer arbitrary firmware flashing or determine that a chosen upgrade or downgrade is safe. Staging success is not proof that a BIOS flash completed; rescan after restart to verify. A correct checksum demonstrates file identity only; it does not establish model compatibility.
Follow the exact manufacturer's procedure for the PC model and physical board revision, required intermediate releases, power and encryption precautions. Downgrades may remove security protections or CPU support and may be blocked by anti-rollback mechanisms. DriverForge does not bypass such restrictions or automatically suspend encryption. Firmware failures can leave a PC unable to boot. Windows restore points and exported driver packages cannot roll back a BIOS flash.

Windows, Microsoft, MSI, AMD, Intel, NVIDIA and other vendor names identify third-party products and sources. They belong to their respective owners. DriverForge is not represented as endorsed, certified or sponsored by those vendors.
Rescue kits contain a hardware report, a portable app copy, instructions and any official-source downloads the user adds. Direct downloads use an allowlist of vendor HTTPS domains, with redirect and size limits. Package choice remains the responsibility of the user. Kit hashes check transfer integrity against the manifest, not publisher authenticity or hardware compatibility. No kit content runs automatically.
The app uses Windows/.NET Framework components provided by Microsoft under their applicable terms. Vendor binaries are not bundled in this distribution; driver and firmware downloads retain their original licenses. Optional app updates use the configured default Microsoft WinGet source and selected package IDs after user review. Microsoft and publishers may receive network requests and maintain their own logs. The app checks the WinGet source address before use, and does not bypass hashes, force updates, request automatic reboots, or batch all apps. Package/source terms still apply.
