How this release handles your information
Scope and contact
This notice describes the local-first CoreNext PC Builder app. CoreNextStudio is the product and publishing brand of George Papadakis, an independent developer in Alaska, United States. CoreNextStudio is not represented here as an incorporated company. For privacy questions, contact contact@corenextstudio.com. The website has its own privacy policy.
Information used on your device
When you choose Scan My PC on Windows, the app reads CPU names and core counts, graphics adapter names and reported display resolution, memory capacity and speed, drive models and sizes, Windows version, scan time and query warnings. It does not request hardware serial numbers, account names, installed-software lists, personal files, location, camera, microphone or contacts.
The app also stores build names and selected parts, imported hardware profiles, display and update preferences, and the name and preferences you type into a build-request draft. Builder edits and unfinished request forms are saved automatically on this device. If saved data cannot be read, the original may be retained locally for recovery until you delete it. These support your PC profile, comparisons and planning. Avoid including passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information in notes.
Storage, retention and security
The saved workspace remains in this app’s device storage until you delete it or clear app storage. The installed Windows edition stores its profile in Windows application data; uninstalling retains that profile unless you first delete local data in the app. The Windows portable edition keeps its profile in a CoreNext Data folder beside the executable; keep that folder private if you copy or share the app. There is no application-level encryption; device access controls and disk encryption determine protection at rest. The app does not automatically upload the workspace or send crash reports, telemetry or advertising identifiers.
Native exports are temporarily held in the app’s cache so another app can read them. Delete local data also clears CoreNext export cache files. Downloads, recipient copies, OS backups and files outside the app are not removed by this control. Android backup exclusions are configured for app data; device manufacturers and independently configured device backups may behave differently.
Sharing and external services
Nothing is sent to CoreNext by saving a draft. Review & share shows the name, preferences, selected component names and compatibility notes included in the enquiry. Copy puts that text on the device clipboard; Android sharing gives it to the app you choose. The Windows email button opens a message addressed to contact@corenextstudio.com for you to paste the request, review and send. The app does not confirm delivery. Exporting or sharing a file is your choice: the destination you select receives that file and handles it under its own terms. If you open the website, a policy link or your email app, that service may receive normal connection data or the information you send. Those services have separate policies.
CoreNext PC listings
Opening PCs for Sale loads public listings and photos from corenextstudio.com, hosted by Hostinger. The host receives normal connection information, including your IP address and request time. No saved workspace is sent. Listings are fetched when you open the page or choose Refresh; photos may be cached by the device. Sold builds are examples of previous work and cannot be purchased. Confirm availability, tax, shipping and final terms before purchase. Contact buttons open an email draft for you to review and send. Browsing does not place an order or reserve stock.
Connected services and permissions
Windows and Android offer optional eBay price searches through corenextstudio.com, hosted by Hostinger. A search starts only when you choose Check eBay prices or Refresh prices. The app sends the selected catalog part ID; the website receives normal connection information such as your IP address and request time. The website sends the component model and category to eBay using CoreNext’s developer credentials. eBay receives that search and the service’s network information. Your scan, full saved builds, names and notes are not included. No delivery ZIP code is requested. The app omits cookies and the referring-page header from price requests.
The pricing plugin caches offers for ten minutes using WordPress storage; expired entries can remain until WordPress cleans them. It stores shared request counters, but does not itself record personal search history or IP addresses. Hostinger and website security systems may keep access and security logs separately; a fixed retention period for those logs has not been confirmed. Contact contact@corenextstudio.com for retention or privacy requests. Deleting app data does not delete server logs or eBay records. eBay processes information under its own privacy notice. Offer links open eBay for checkout; no affiliate tracking is added.
The browser development preview uses a local pricing adapter instead of the website, with offers cached in memory for ten minutes. IGDB, game-performance providers and cloud accounts remain unconnected. Android uses the system file picker for files you choose and the share sheet for exports. It does not scan your Windows PC remotely or request broad file access. Android internet permission supports the optional price searches.
App updates
Settings stores your automatic-update preference. The signed Windows 0.5.3 release uses the official CoreNextStudio HTTPS update feed. When automatic updates are enabled, the app can check on startup and every six hours while it remains open; manual mode checks only when you request it. If an update is available, the app can download the signed installer and asks before restarting to install. Windows verifies the signed installer before installation. Update requests expose normal connection data such as your IP address and update-client details to the release host; they do not include your scanned PC profile, builds or notes. Android 0.5.2 is under Google Play review. If Google approves the closed-test release, installation and updates will be delivered through Google Play and its update settings. Review this notice when those services change.
Local storage and tracking
This release uses essential local storage to remember your workspace. It contains no advertising or analytics SDK, tracking cookies, embedded videos or automatic cloud synchronization. The local saved-build API is separate and is not connected to the app interface. The optional pricing service handles catalog searches only.
Your choices and requests
You can skip scanning, import or export a profile, export your workspace, or delete local data in Overview. There is no app account to delete in this release. For information you separately send to CoreNext through email or the website, contact the address above to request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable retention requirements and your legal rights.
Information sent to support
Opening a support email does not send it automatically. If you send a message or attach an export, CoreNext receives what you include and uses it to respond to your request. For website and customer communication practices, see the website privacy policy linked above; the app’s Delete local data control does not delete support correspondence. The website policy does not specify a fixed support-retention period. Contact us to ask about retention or request removal.
Age, purchases and updates
The app is a PC planning tool, not a service designed specifically for children. Purchases and arrangements with CoreNext should be handled by an adult, or by a parent or guardian for a minor. Before accounts, online requests, analytics or cloud features are introduced, this notice and relevant disclosures must be updated to describe the actual changes.
